New Beginnings Exhibition

I’m excited to be part of New Beginnings, the 5th Annual Open Exhibition by the Women’s Art Association of Hamilton. The show opens Friday, April 25 at the Cotton Factory and celebrates the creativity of local women artists. Looking forward to experiencing and supporting local creativity!

For New Beginnings, I submitted three paintings, including two 'Self Portraits as Still Life', which reimagines earlier self-portraits as the backdrop for a floating teapot. By incorporating past works into new still-life compositions, past creations and past selves can be transformed into something new.
