SKETCHBOOK EXPERIMENT

Things I like:

  • grids - anchoring elements to a grid and focusing on composition

  • colour - orangey-pink and grey-blue

  • brown paper - because you draw the lightest lights and the darkest darks, and the toned paper takes care of the middle.

  • graph paper, masking tape, coffee stains

  • pen outline, solid blocks of colour, soft pencil crayon blended together
