Experiments

My 7-year-old son and I have been painting with his art supplies. Using his art kit we painted fun and colourful backgrounds. His expressive, uninhibited creativity is an inspiration which reminds me of why I started creating art in the first place. I use the pages as a launch point for loose studies in oil.

I took what I’d learned in the explorations collaborating with my 7-year-old to my sketchbook and tried to create with the same energy.
