Mixed Media Shop’s Self Portrait Exhibit

I recently dropped off a small self portrait at Mixed Media Shop at 1058 King St W, Hamilton. As part of their 20th anniversary celebrations, they’re bringing back The Self-Portrait Gallery of Hamilton, an open group art show that first took place almost ten years ago on James St. North.

This special exhibition will open this November at their current Westdale location, featuring 5x7" self-portraits by local artists working in all kinds of mediums. It’s a fun, community-centered show, open for anyone to participate.

I love that Mixed Media continues to support artists of all levels and keeps the local art scene stocked up on great quality supplies. Can’t wait to see everyone’s interpretations when the show opens!
