Resilience Exhibition

I’m honoured to be part of Resilience, a juried group exhibition with the Women’s Art Association of Hamilton at Earls Court Gallery, running from July 12–26, 2025. My submission began as a self-portrait painted during a precarious time. Years later, I repurposed the image—layering it into a new work—as both a background and a reminder. These self-portraits have since evolved into still lifes, reflecting a life that has grown quieter and more grounded. The process speaks to resilience: how we carry the past into the present and reshape it into something steady.
